Faced with globalization which permits the universalization of the market and favors trade liberalization, fifteen African states with a common legal background signed on 17 October , in Mauritius, the Organization for the Harmonization of Commercial Law in Africa Treaty OHADA , to promote an enabling legal and judicial environment for their economie activities. The treaty's original features lies in the specifieity ofits fondamental objective, the size of the communal integration that it proposes and the special methods and means used to attain its objectives. At the legal level, the Treaty stipulates that the actions taken for the adoption of common rules shall be termed as Uniform Acts.
